@Bug_feed
Social Media Management & Photography
@Bug_Feed on Instagram is a page dedicated to showcasing interesting, funny, and everyday photos of bugs submitted by both followers and admins. As a frequent submitter to the page, I asked to join the Bug Feed team as an admin in 2018 and was accepted.
It’s quite easy to find bugs, and a surprising amount of people like to take pictures of them. We take a very friendly, nonchalant, and community-focused approach to posting and captioning pictures.
Here are my photographic contributions to Bug Feed. I use my iPhone camera – often times with a jeweler’s loupe over it for close-up shots

Without ever buying ad space or using hashtags, our Instagram posts receive an average of 20 likes a post. We regularly receive submissions from our 200+ followers.
The goal of the Bug Feed Instagram is not necessarily to go viral, but rather to build a solid community of bug scouts and photography enthusiasts.
